Crochet Bunting Pattern

April 12, 2012
I finally decided it was time to decorate my wreath again.
I didn’t do anything special for Easter …
Just because it was too crazy around here.
I NEEDED to do something for spring though.

I decided I wanted to try and crochet a little bunting.
I was planning to just do the triangles, and did.
After doing 1 of each of the 4 colors I chose,
I decided it’d be fun to alternate with flowers.

So I did.  🙂

Then I just did my usual and hot glued my little clips on.
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check it out here.
Then just stuck it on my wreath how I wanted it to fit.

What’s that?
You love it and want the pattern?  😉
Okay … I guess so.

Both patterns are SUPER easy and beginners would be able to do them easily.
Let me know if you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them.

**Just a note, I did work in the chain stitch because it was looking weird if I didn’t, so if the numbers seem weird, that might be why.  I’d be happy to answer any questions.

H Hook used
WW yarn used

*Chain 3, join with slst to fist ch st.
*6 sc in ch 3 space (the middle). Slst in first sc.
*(Ch 2, sc in next sc).  Repeat around.  6 ch 2 sp. Slst in first slst.
*(Slst, HDC, DC, DC, HDC, Slst) in each ch 2 sp around. Slst into first slst.
*Finish off. Weave in ends.

To make these connected like I have in my photo,
check out this tutorial.  It’s the same idea.
You’d just do the same thing but single crochet across the top, instead of down the middle.

Ta Da!  Enjoy!
You could make several and hang this up anywhere and it’d be adorable.

Jen you always make me feel so good, lol. Thanks. 🙂 Yesterday I didn’t have a choice, I had to sit, so I figured I might as well get some crocheting done, lol. 🙂 It’s fun. Thanks for your sweet comments.

I know how to crochet, but I still couldn’t come up with this idea. Super cute, Kara! Thanks for sharing at our party this week and Happy Spring.
