Crochet Pumpkins for my wreath

I was on a walk with the kids the other day and as we walked past our house I saw this:

I mean, I knew my wreath was still like that … but WHOA!  It is fall, I need to get on this before it became too late into the season to get motivated and then give up.  Lol.  So, I decided pumpkins would be easy enough and I could share the pattern I cam up with.  So here you have it.

Where to do the DC
I stitched mine together to make little sets for the wreath.

Don’t mind my horrible unfinished basement lighting where my sewing and craft supplies are, lol.  Here is how to attach clips to your pumpkins (you can do the same thing for crochet flowers also, or just use one pumpkin and make a little hair clip for Halloween).  I like this so I can change up my wreath through out the year, without totally changing my entire wreath.

You’ll need a little felt square, clip, hot glue gun/glue

Attach the clip to the felt, and on the flat/back side of the clip, put the glue all over.

Push firmly onto your project, and Ta da!  You’re done.
My finished pumpkin patches
Here is a full door shot once I got the pumpkins on, and a couple close ups.  I think it turned out cute.  I think it’d be fun to change my ribbon to black.  I doubt it’ll happen though.  🙂  I feel lucky I don’t have a summer wreath anymore, lol.  🙂

If you make it, let me know how it turns out.  I’d love to see.  What kind of holiday wreath do you have?  Do you prefer a holiday wreath, or a more general seasonal wreath?
