Don’t you just hate it when you have just put something in boiling water (pasta, potatoes, etc) and you turn the temperature down, and it still ends up boiling over?? I saw this amazing tip and was shocked when it worked. My husband didn’t know what to think at first, but when he saw that it worked, we were both sold, and always do this now.
After you’ve put your food into the boiling water, obviously turn the temp down a bit, and just put a wooden spoon over the top of the pot. It’s amazing. It totally works. I promise! Try it out and let me know how it goes! I bet you’ll experience no boil overs from here on out.
