School Art Display

August 6, 2013

Last year my 5 year old had the best preschool teacher.  They made the most adorable school art display project and I HAD to share it.  It’s so cute and simple.

School Work Art Display

Supplies:
Wooden Paint Sticks (just ask at your local hardware store paint section for one)
Clothes Pins (like these or these)
Craft Paint
Permanent Marker
Magnet Stripe

What to do:
-Paint your stick whatever color you’d like.  This is something that your child can do too.
-Once the paint is dry, have your child make ruler marks (if desired) and write “Look What I Made!” on the stick.  You can help them as needed of course.  It’s fun to see their handwriting when they’re just learning and so fun to see them accomplish writing the various letters.
-Hot glue the magnet to either side.
-Once the magnet is dry, hot glue the clothes pins onto the front.
*You could also hang this on the wall instead of having a magnet using those command stripes.

Ta-Da!  All done and ready to display the adorable art work they’ll be bringing home all year.  I love proud the kids are when I hang something on the fridge or pantry for everyone to see.
