Back to School Celebration Treats

August 21, 2013

Ice Cream Cone SundaeAre your kids getting all geared up to head back to school? Or have they already started? We love to have a fun treat after the kids get back from their first day of school that isn’t a “normal” treat. It’s a great opportunity to sit down with your kids and get them to spill how the first day of school was. How do they like their teacher? Who is in the class? How was lunch? We discovered this fun treat this summer, and I thought it’d be fun to make to surprise the kids when antidepressants they got home from their first day of school. It’s quick and easy and super fun treat to celebrate their progress in school, and chat it up.

Ingredients:
Ice Cream
Chocolate Syrup
Brownies (broken into chuncks)
Ice Cream Cones

Assembling:
Layer the Ice cream, Brownies, and Chocolate Syrup in the ice cream cone. I started with a chunk of brownie in the bottom, the some syrup, then ice cream. When I got the top, I just pushed the brownie pieces into the ice cream and drizzled the syrup on top. It was perfect!

Do you have a Traditional Back to School Celebration Treats?
