A while back, I gave a Tuesday Tip that was about How to Tweeze Your Brows. When I posted it on Facebook, I had a friend ask if I could do a tutorial about how to Trim Eyebrows. I have crazy eyebrows, and I often trim my husbands, so I told her I’d be up for that for sure. Guess what? It’s been a while! My cute friend has had to wait, but it’s finally here!!
The best part about this tutorial is, that at the bottom of the post, there is a video to help you if you need a little bit more guidance. This tutorial is for Men AND Women! My husband is such a great sport, and let me use him to do it. I just can’t do it all on my self and make sure the camera is seeing what needs to be seen. If you’re not sure if you even need to trim them, this tutorial should help you determine if you need a little trim, or not. 🙂
What you’ll need:
First you’re other going to want to brush the brow up. You’ll do this across the entire brow.
Then, you can trim the hairs that are coming up above the regular brow line. Usually the hairs that are in the area where you see the scissors is easy to just cut — they stay put when you brush them up. I usually have to hold my brush up against the brow line, and cut all the hairs above the brush in the lower part of the brow (this is shown in the video).
Once you’ve got those cut. Smooth the brow with the brush, and then brush the brow down! Some hairs fall differently, so it’s important to do both up and down. You’ll again follow the brow line to trim these. If you cut them too short they’ll end up sticking straight out, so the brow is a good guideline to help them not get too short.
Have you ever trimmed your eyebrows before?
