Easiest Sprinkle Cookies (and Red Hot Cookies)

Sprinkle Cookies by Simplistically Sassy
When I got grocery shopping at my favorite local place, at the bakery, they have free cookies for the kids (thank you!!), and one of my daughters doesn’t like chocolate (shocking, I know!) and sometimes the bakery has these sprinkle cookies.  I haven’t ever actually TRIED one, but I figured we could make up something similar.

As I was thinking about how easy the cake mix Peanut Butter Cup cookies were, I knew I wanted to try a cake mix cookie again.  So fast, and few ingredients that it makes it SO easy to do in a tight amount of time without measuring a ton of ingredients.

All you gotta do it grab your ingredients.

Then, mix them all together until they’re dough consistency.

Here are the sprinkle cookies – I love the rainbow look to them.

I found some red hots and really wanted to try those too. SO GOOD!!

Next, drop them by the tablespoon onto a cookie sheet.

After that, you’ll just use your hand (or a spoon if you need to), and pat the dough just a little. These cookies won’t really spread much, so this is important.

Bake at 350 degrees for 8 (ish) minutes.  Pull out and let them cool a bit.

Do you like sprinkles? Do you like the typical jimmy’s or do you prefer something else? My favorite are the little ball sprinkles — I’ll try that next time, lol.
