Hey Friends! Are you ready for this?!
In February of 2014, my youngest was 18 months old, and she was sleeping through the night. I had no excuses any more.
I was done. I was DONE!!
I was done feeling tired, and weak, and I was DONE feeling blah all the time. I wanted to look in the mirror and see how I KNEW I actually was. I wanted to be proud of myself. I wanted to love what and who I saw.
I knew that I had to find myself. I knew that if I could be who I wanted to be on the outside, I would be able to be the true me on the outside. I KNEW that.
I could FEEL that in myself.
I saw my friends blog post about how she’d lost weight over the last year learning various habits, and eating REAL normal food that was at the grocery store. That was a HUGE thing for me. If I was going to go through a program, I NEEDED to shop at the grocery store. I didn’t want to order food from the company, and I didn’t want to have that be an extra cost. I have SEVEN other people to feed. I wasn’t just going to change my lifestyle, it was going to be a family affair, at least to an extent.
When I first signed up to work with John through his Bod-E-Volv program, I was stoked. One of the best lessons I learned from John was that it was going to take dedication, work, and it was NOT going to just be a downward slope on the scale.
You guys, it was HARD. It was SO HARD!!
It still is hard! But it’s been 1000% worth every moment, every up and down, and every new habit I’ve had to learn. I still have a little ways to go, but that’s totally okay. Know why? Because I”m still trying.
Here are the 5 things that I did for over a year to lose body FAT (not just weight, but get rid of FAT), and to keep it off. Anyone can do these things. Any mother, wife, women, man, husband – we can all do these things! Just remember that it’s HARD though.
You have to DEDICATE yourself to YOU.
You have to be willing to make time for yourself, and it’s hard. It’s so so so worth it though.
